A Telegram news channel has posted the complete specs of the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro ahead of their launch, revealing almost all the details.

Google is gearing up to launch the Pixel 7 series on Oct. 6, and ahead of the event, the complete specs of the upcoming smartphones have been leaked. Google has already confirmed that it will launch two smartphones at the event – the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Alongside, the company will also reveal the much-awaited Google Pixel Watch.

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will take the baton from Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro released in 2021, and compete with the Galaxy S22 series and the iPhone 14 lineup. While Google has already announced several details about its upcoming smartphones, a recent leak revealed the prices of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. According to the report, the Pixel 7 will cost $599, while the Pixel 7 Pro will cost $899.

Adding to the slew of leaks, a Telegram channel called Google News has shared an image with the entire specifications of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The channel secured the picture from a Taiwanese mobile carrier's website and translated it into English. While the image appears to be marketing material that could be used by Google or carriers in the future, it contains convincing details about the upcoming flagships. As per the image, the Pixel 7 will come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ display and support up to a 90Hz refresh rate. Further, the smartphone will feature a dual camera system that consists of a 50MP primary lens and a 12MP secondary ultra-wide lens. The Pixel 7 will have camera features like high-resolution 8x zoom, Real Tone, and Movie Motion Blur, which could be Google's answer to iPhone's Cinematic Mode.

The image also mentions that the Pixel 7 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch LTPO QHD+ display that supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 7 Pro will ship with triple cameras on the back, including a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The Pixel 7 Pro will also support Macro Focus, a camera mode allowing users to click images of small subjects from a close distance.

Under the hood, both the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by Tensor G2, the second generation of Google's in-house smartphone processor. The chipset works with 8GB of RAM on the Pixel 7 and 12GB of RAM on the Pixel 7 Pro. However, the Pixel 7 Pro could come with 12GB of RAM against 8GB of RAM on the regular Pixel 7. Apart from this, both phones will come with face and fingerprint unlock as security options.

From the looks of it, the Google Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro seem to be similar to their predecessors in many aspects. While the Pixel 6 comes with a 6.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the leaked Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro display sizes. Even the camera configuration seems to be identical to last year's models. Nevertheless, the Pixel 7 series is expected to come with other hardware and software upgrades that haven't been revealed yet.
